Intellectual property and video games in the Dominican Republic

Abstract

The value of the videogames is within its intangible elements, protectable through Intellectual Property. Our laws provide several legal figures and types in which the videogames may find an effective protection. However, the implementation of a specific figure that answers to the reality of their making, development and commercialization may be the best tool to cooperate with their ongoing expansion.
