The 50th anniversary of the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI)

Abstract
Intellectual property is crucial for technological development and economic growth, which is why these rights have been protected around the world by enacting laws governing the matter. Inspired by these legal developments regarding the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights as well as technological phenomena occurring at the time, a group of experts founded the Inter-American Association of Intellectual property (ASIPI) in Mexico 50 years ago.
